Mole, Mass & Particles
Convert between mass, amount of substance and number of chemical entities from a formula.
ToolN
The mole connects microscopic entities to measurable laboratory quantities. One mole contains exactly 6.02214076 × 10²³ specified entities. For a molecular substance those entities can be molecules; for an ionic solid they are usually formula units.
When the starting value is a mass, the tool first calculates the molar mass from the formula and the atomic-weight dataset used by the other Mendeleev chemistry tools. It then converts mass ↔ moles ↔ entities without changing the chemical formula.
